Project Description:

The intern, working with partner R&D staff, will use the data platform to gather, analyze, synthesize and visualize data trends and to investigate the quantitiatve connections between the nano- engineered lighting sytem and optimal human health and productivity. The data analytics will inform and support both the partner’s engineering and marketing streams as well as provide a larger research purpose of scientific knowledge transfer towards understanding the connection between nano-engineered lighting, using quantum dot technology, and well-being.

Background and required skills

Research Objectives/Sub-Objectives:

  • Design, create and evaluate a moving data-set with information from the Nano-Lit Smart Diffuser nano-engineered lightingsystem that is programmed to automtically update trend anlyses and data visualizations
  • Use the data to investigate and write evidence-based articles about the benefits of the product  for health and well being and in the larger research arena around Nano-Technology and health
