Mitacs Enterprise - Company Initial Application

Interested in hiring an Enterprise intern? 

Please fill out the application form below. This initial application is used to capture all relevant background information about the company.  Upon receipt of submission, we will provide you with an Internship Proposal which will outline the internship objectives.  Together these documents will be reviewed by our Mitacs Enterprise Selection Committee for acceptance into the program. Please allow 2-3 weeks for review.

If you are applying with an intern in mind, please include this information on the application form (Question #22).

If yes, please provide the following:

CERTIFICATION

I certify on behalf of the applicant company that: 

a.    the company is located in Southern Ontario (as defined by the Program guidelines);

b.    the information given is, to the best of my knowledge and ability, complete, true and correct and this will also apply to all information given in the future in connection with the program

c.    the company a) has not used the services of a lobbyist for the purposes of this application for financial assistance; or b) has used the services of a lobbyist for the purposes of this application for financial assistance, but the lobbyist is in compliance with the Lobbying Act.

d.     I have read and understand the applicable Program Guidelines

e.      I will notify Mitacs if the company undergoes major restructuring, moves out of southern Ontario or no longer qualifies as a SME.

f.     I acknowledge that the intern is required to attend a 1-day orientation and 2-day bootcamp provided by Mitacs during the course of their participation in Mitacs Enterprise.
