Internship Title:Process Engineer
Internship Description:
  • Study workstations to improve productivity and health and safety for workers.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to layouts and use of work aids such as assembly fixtures, hand tool improvements, and automation.
  • Manage improvement projects to ensure timelines are met.
  • Improve production flow through enhanced workplace design.
  • Participation in APQP process required.
  • Use of engineering tools such as FMEA, DOE and 8D or another problem solving technique.
  • Develop poke yoke gauges and assembly jigs for production.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • 1-4 years of experience.
  • Experience in Plastic Injection Moulding would be an asset
