The joint initiative — cofounded by Ciena, Mitacs, ÉTS, University of Ottawa, the Platform Lab at Stanford University, Humanitas and TRIA Network Systems — is part of ENCQOR’s (Evolution of Networked Services through a Corridor in Quebec and Ontario for Research and Innovation) 5G partnership.
