Summary of Project:

This project includes data gathering process design and implementation for the final purpose of assessing the risk of upcoming illness in different aspects of life (starting with physical illnesses). The project also involves OCR algorithm development to read patients record automatically, feature selection and optimization, and machine learning to assess the related risks.  

Research Objectives/Sub-Objectives:

  • Implementation of data gathering and data cleaning techniques
  • Design of OCR algorithms to automatically store dsigitized information of patients records
  • Feature extraction algorithm development to identify the main features related to illnesses
  • Performing artificial intelligence algorithms to assess the risk of specific diseases
