About the Company: 

We complete performance analytics and perform deep dives into data from professional hockey video feeds.

Project Description:

We collect data from world-wide hockey league feeds, including NHL teams. The company wants to automate aspects of analyzing this video data - at minimum XY coordinates of players and the puck, and shift times (tracking when certain players are on the ice).

Research Objectives:

  • XY coordinates of puck
  • XY coordinates of every player
  • Calculate shift time based on XY
  • Other performance metrics
