About the company:

We are an industrial design company that develops and manufactures hardware for use in the cannabis space.  We have a patented 3 window design vape pen and are working on launching an oral spray and pressurized metered dose inhaler.  We want to make consuming cannabis easy, safe and effective.

Please describe the project.:

HIYA is the device we have created.  It is a redesign of the typical asthma inhaler, in an attempt to remove the stigma of it being a medical device.  Our goal is to develop effective formulations using isolates of CBD, CBN, and other cannabinoids.  We will be launching the product in both the medical and recreational cannabis markets in Canada, with the intention to move into the US as a more long term goal.  Another long term goal is researching what other molecules can be formulated in this format.

Required expertise/skills:

There is a preference is for an Academic research lab to have the cannabinoid research license.

Knowledge of the pulmonary system and the engineering of pressurized metered dose inhalers is required.

Knowledge of pharmocology and inhalation type treatments.

Working knowledge of cannabinoids and the cannabinoid system.

Due to the specialties required, most likely we are looking at a PhD level candidate.
