About the company: 

Foqus provides solutions based on Quantum Information algorithms and Machine Learning techniques to enhance the sensitivity of Magnetic Resonance Technologies such as MRI and NMR.

Describe the project.: 

The project is to simulate and then experimentally implement some set of pulse sequences. These pulse sequences implement our quantum algorithms.

We are doing this for different samples. Some of these samples are of value to our customers and some can potentially play key roles in our prototypes for the next stages. 

The key responsibilities of the intern/postdoc would involve:

  • Simulation of the experiment
  • Preparation of the sample
  • Running the experiment
  • Analyzing the results

Required expertise/skills: 

The ideal canddiate is a Master's or PhD student, or a postdoctoral fellow in Chemical/Biological Engineering, Biomedical Enineering or Biochemistry/Molecular Biology.

It would help to have experience:

  • with NMR/MRI experiments
  • with NMR/MRI softwares and simulations
