Describe the project.: 

Flywheel Digital delivers digital advertising services for its clients. This means creating and managing advertising campaigns on online ad platforms, primarily Facebook, Instagram, and Google.

In 2021, the industry saw a substantial change. When new privacy standards from Apple were introduced in their “iOS14” update, advertising platforms had less user data available to them than before, and as a result, it became much more difficult to understand whether ads were working. Since they can’t rely as heavily on data-driven targeting, digital advertisers now have to get more innovative in creating campaigns.

The job of this project is to assist Flywheel’s digital advertising team in innovating on its services to create groundbreaking campaigns in a post-iOS14 world. The project will incorporate several roles in supporting this:

  • Analyzing existing Flywheel clients and campaigns for performance opportunities
  • Researching, analyzing, and reporting on innovative opportunities to improve service levels to match the new reality. This includes researching tooling, methodologies, competitor practices, and industry reports; then delivering to Flywheel leadership as presentations.
  • Practical application of innovations through hands-on campaign management.

Required expertise/skills: 

Demonstrated interest in digital advertising, creative advertising, or analytics. This can be demonstrated through study or applied use (for example, a personal project).
