Describe the project.: 

Simbi is working on a product innovation project to explore and develop a content co-creation strategy. The candidate will be working on innovative methods to conduct market research, develop business strategy, and create an effective process for working with partners to create Children’s stories.

Throughout the internship, the candidate will interact with a diverse group of community members and stakeholders on a daily basis to build a positive relationship with Simbi and ensure that we are consistently aligned with the goal of the project, and will receive in-depth training to understand Simbi’s products and the landscape of content & media projects currently underway and planned for the near future.

The candidate will be responsible for executing and reporting on market research, planning projects for creating and publishing children’s storybooks, and managing feedback & iterations from multiple stakeholders. The intern is expected to have a strong command of effective communication and organization skills that will build towards the success and accountability of the project. The intern will report directly to the Head of Content. 

As Simbi is a tight-knit team, the candidate will be able to ask questions and work with a wide array of skilled personnel from our educators-in-residence to publisher relations experts, expanding their knowledge of our product and the broader industry - providing numerous perspectives to further develop personal and career interests. The intern will develop their effective communication, project management, research, and emotional intelligence skills while learning about the education technology sector through this dynamic and engaging internship opportunity.
