About the company:
Chemia is developing an intelligent high-throughput quantum material discovery platform with an innovative, fast, and efficient microcrystal synthesis approach and parallel ultra-rapid characterization techniques. Our mission is to accelerate the science and technology of quantum materials for the sustainable development of humanity.
Describe the project.:
The intern will perform finite element heat analysis on a network of different micro-fabricated heaters, thermoelectric coolers, and other heat exchangers to achieve the desired temperature profile in the synthesis and characterization chambers of our first generation of quantum material discovery platform. He/she will also have the option to test the physical prototypes of some of the designs in the lab after receiving the relevant training.
Required expertise/skills:
Finite element heat transfer analysis software such as COMSOL, SolidWorks, python. Relevant lab experience in thermal analysis is an asset.
