Describe the project.: 

The intern will be responsible for the partial design and analysis of the synthesis and characterization of sub-platforms and sample chambers that operate in extreme temperatures with reactive and ultra-pure materials. He/she is also responsible for testing some of the prototypes in the lab and benchmarking the experimental results with the simulations.

Required expertise/skills: 

SolidWorks, COMSOL, thermal analysis, thermo-mechanical, surface microscopy, and phase transition analyses.
