About the company:

Since 2005 Adexflow International has developed a business by offering an innovative interoperability software solution for digital data exchanges. This solution has been deployed in several countries for industries in the sensitive nuclear, aerospace and defense sectors. Adexflow has acquired significant expertise in the integration of information technologies and digital systems for all stages of development of these industries: design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, implementation, operation, decommissioning. Following a major contract with General Dynamics to provide information management for the manufacture, maintenance and operation of US Navy submarines and aircraft carriers, Adexflow International moved its headquarters and IP to Canada in 2015. Its technology having obtained convincing results for this sector, a subsidiary has been created in Australia in 2021 and a project is underway to establish a presence in Great Britain. The involvement of a dozen of our collaborators recognized in the defense sector has propelled Adexflow into the AUKUS program. This new challenge is a very important incentive to implement a Research and Development program in Ontario.

Describe the project.:

Research Project: Adexflow has demonstrated a real expertise in solving the technological challenges of interoperability and security of digital information exchanges. A growing demand for the control of digital data transactions is emerging in the context of industrial projects, particularly in the defense sector. It is a question of responding to the need to manage the cycle, qualify and quantify the value of exchanges to offer a complete system of technical data transactions. The aim is to offer a platform for quoting transactions. Indeed, subcontractors who used to provide manufactured and ready-to-use systems are facing a growing demand for digital models of their systems to feed 3D printing, robotic lines, and documentation in the context of delocalized manufacturing. To date, integrated platform systems such as CAD, CRM, ERP etc... are losing momentum as they cannot meet this new need. Similarly, blockchain, financial or AI technologies are not adapted. The research project is therefore to identify the hypotheses to be taken into account, to establish the criteria of valuation and to arrive at a new formulation combining the qualitative analysis given by engineering, the transactional analysis specific to finance and the characterization and monitoring of computerized exchanges. An important part of the research project will focus on the determination of the mathematical factors allowing to propose a valuation and a quotation of digital data exchanges. Adexflow's expertise will have to be completed by expertise in financial markets. Engineering, Finance, and IT are the three components of the project.
