iClinic’s next phase of growth will focus on curating our rich repository of discrete data for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities, focusing on precision, preventative medicine, and therapeutic innovations.
Describe the project.:
As a precursor to future applications of AI for precision medicine, the team is working on the development of data pipelines to extract, transform and analyse data from disparate sources. Primary focus will be on the development of NLP models to extract pertinent medical entities from raw unstructured text data.
You will be involved in end-to-end development and deployment of the following:
- Conducting experiments to compare/validate different NLP techniques to achieve business objectives
- Building suitable data pipelines to convert raw data to work with your NLP models
- Planning, designing and testing chosen systems for deployment into a production environment
Candidate must be able to work out of the Vancouver office.
Required expertise/skills:
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks used for NLP
- Proficiency in writing deployment-level code (python/SQL)
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT engineering processes
- Interest in solving advanced problems within digital health
