A graduate of both Wilfred Laurier University (Honours B.Sc. in Biology) and the University of Windsor (M.Sc. in Biology), Rebecca Bourque’s focus at Mitacs has been to facilitate and help fund collaborative research projects with companies from as small as two people up to huge multinationals. She works closely with companies to determine their R&D needs and source the talent they require to compete and thrive in this global economy.
Prior to joining Mitacs in 2009, Rebecca spent 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry with increasingly challenging roles in sales, training, marketing and management.
