Genemis Laboratories is a Canadian company focused on developing nanotechnology-enabled environmental monitoring tools. Our mission is to simplify point-of-use microbial water testing. Genemis’s core technology was developed at University of Waterloo, Department of Chemical Engineering, and our products are manufactured and sold globally from our Cambridge, Ontario headquarters.

Genemis has outgrown its current relatively simple business and operation processes. To meet the current requirements of a high-growth tech company, Genemis needs to re-engineer both business procedures and operational systems, around its production, distribution/logistics, costing, and sales processes. The candidate will be involved in the analysis of current operations and will work directly with management to set up more complex and sophisticated systems to match the increased number of products and processes.
Expertise ou compétences exigées:
We are looking for a candidate with education and a basic understanding of accounting and business operations, preferably a business, accounting, or economics graduate or undergraduate student, interested in the startup ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and will be an excellent communicator. The candidate will be directly involved in complex projects within business administration, and process development activities. The candidate will work directly with a highly skilled management team, under a challenging, high-pressure environment and will be exposed to all facets of the business.
