Flywheel Digital is an industry leader in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), having won Search Engine Land’s Boutique SEO Agency of the Year in 2021. However, SEO is constantly changing, and our business requires new innovation in the world of SEO to stay at the forefront. The goal of this project is to help innovate on our SEO service offering by using the latest cutting-edge technology.
Much of SEO relies on what we call “search-driven content” – articles and web pages that focus on providing information to searchers (primarily on Google). However in recent years, the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based writing has changed the SEO landscape. It used to take a writer 5-10 hours to research a subject and write a compelling, relevant article. Now, AI is creating opportunities to half that time while improving quality, and we want to innovate on the best way to leverage this.
The project will involve researching available software for AI-driven content and reporting on their use, testing the tools, and ultimately incorporating them into Flywheel’s service offering and delivering new search-driven content to the client with this work.

Demonstrated interest in SEO, Content Marketing, or Natural Language Processing AI. This can be demonstrated through study or applied use (for example, a personal project).
