Chemia is developing an intelligent high-throughput quantum material discovery platform with an innovative, fast, and efficient microcrystal synthesis approach and parallel ultra-rapid characterization techniques. Our mission is to accelerate the science and technology of quantum materials for the sustainable development of humanity.

Veuillez décrire le projet.: 

The interns are responsible for synthesizing specific quantum materials and characterizing their spectroscopic and non-spectroscopic properties with standard techniques and the prototypes of our platform. The goal is to reassure the reproducibility of material quality and their corresponding characterization data. They are also exploring new quantum materials that can be synthesized within the synthesis limits of our platforms. They also identify and prioritize different extractable physical properties of the existing quantum materials from the literature, provide the measured data on different materials that they characterized and work with the other members of the team to build a training set for machine learning data extraction APIs. The non-spectroscopic physical properties of our interest are included but are not limited to thermal, thermoelectric, electrical, magnetic, and mechanical properties.

Expertise ou compétences exigées: 

Deep understanding of the physical properties of the strongly correlated electron systems and other varieties of quantum materials, python, familiar with cryogenics, crystallography, experimental thermoelectric, and thermodynamic measurements in extreme conditions.
