Development of a decision support system for urban agriculture interventions that aim to improve health

There are many potential benefits to growing edible plants and trees within the city. These benefits include the provision of fresh, healthy foods as well as decreasing anxiety and depression among those who enjoy the garden. Unfortunately, many of these benefits are not realized in reality because gardens are often put in place without thinking about the needs of the people that are going to use the garden. I would like to start a business that works with organizations to help them put in place gardens and food forests that people can partake in and enjoy. The goal of these gardens would be to engage people in growing their own food as well as decrease stress, anxiety, and depression of users.
