Accounting Assistant

An intern is important to our organization’s future success as they will give us the opportunity to receive assistance with some of our bigger tasks and projects. An intern also brings with them new, up to date industry concepts, academic knowledge and ideas that may be useful for us to implement within our own organization.

The intern will gain accounting knowledge such as bank reconciliations, expense reports reconciliation, accounts payable (processing invoices, update invoice status, process payments, etc), assisting with aspects of full cycle accounting (depreciation calculation, prepaid amortization, revaluation of foreign currency accounts, etc). The intern will also assist with our internal processes, IT solutions, including SharePoint, improvements to processes etc.
