REES Technology Group Inc. (Respect, Educate, Empower, Survivors) is an early-stage start-up that provides a clear and consistent reporting platform to sexual assault survivors and victims. Founded in 2019, the social impact technology company specializes in the design, development and implementation of online reporting for sexual violence. It provides a centralized online reporting hub with increased options for reporting sexual violence, access to information about resources and support systems. REES also provides critical data that can be used to inform policy, identify gaps, enhance security, and address sexual violence in all areas, including learning and work environments. This project will focus on scaling outside of Manitoba and will begin the planning stage for international expansion. The project will focus on market research and developing strategy to support these goals.
