ARISE is an augmented reality, AI-enabled therapy platform developed by Neuro-Mod to improve chronic neck pain care through engaging, mechanism-informed exercises delivered via lightweight AR glasses and a smartphone. This project combines two goals: (1) clinical pilot evaluation and product refinement, and (2) market launch preparation. During the internship, ARISE will be implemented across up to 10 Hamilton-area physiotherapy clinics, with recurring bi-weekly clinic check-ins to capture patient and clinician feedback, monitor adherence and outcomes (pain, function, quality of life), and document workflow integration and usability. These insights will be translated into a pilot/usability report and a structured bugs/issues/improvements handoff to guide engineering refinements for commercialization. In parallel, the project will build a prioritized Canada-wide clinic target list (physiotherapy, chiropractic, and pain management), launch a sequenced multi-email outreach campaign, and integrate outreach into a CRM to track engagement, follow-ups, and conversions. Together, these activities validate ARISE’s clinical and operational value in real-world care settings while creating the evidence, messaging, and sales infrastructure needed for early adoption and commercial launch in Q4 2026.
