The Canadian-Chilean Array for Radio Transient Studies (CHARTS) project is a collaborative effort between the University of Toronto in Canada and the Universidad de Chile in Chile. CHARTS is dedicated to detecting and analyzing powerful extragalactic signals known as Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs). The primary goal of the Globalink research project is to develop and construct the analog receiver component for CHARTS. Sebastián is a graduate student at the Universidad de Chile, and the student in charge of the analog system design. He possesses a valuable skillset in long radio wavelengths, with particular expertise in the multiplexing method slated for implementation in CHARTS. In his capacity as an intern, Sebastián will bring this expertise to Canada, fostering knowledge exchange with astronomers at the University of Toronto, and actively contributing to the ongoing refinement of CHARTS.
