Ecohabitation

As an intern, my job will be to collaborate in the creation of the financial structure of a large-scale program dedicated to decarbonization and the clean energy transition of the residential sector. My responsibilities in this role will range from researching data about impact financing, advising and supporting the design team, preparing the necessary documents for the creation of the fund, etc. Additionally, my job will also entail performing cash flow analysis to determine how we can structure the fund in a way that is attractive to both investors and property owners who wish to participate in the program and convert their residential heating system into a heating system that uses clean energy.

The vision of the program is to convert oil-heated households towards smart electrification. The company envisions that in 2025, the trend of converting fuel oil towards “smart” electrification in Quebec will significantly accelerate. Furthermore, the mission of the project is to facilitate financially profitable renovations for property owners, thereby reducing the impact on ecosystems and improving the comfort of residents. The project aims to achieve 10% of market share over 10 years in conversions from residential fuel oil heating to smart electrification. Moreover, the company also seeks to deploy medium-term solutions for any archetype of a residential building, energy system, and consumer profiles.
