Energy Consumption Exploration in Smart vs Standard Thermostats

Home automation and smart devices offer the opportunities for consumers to save on costs. Furthermore, it is observed that home residents living in climates which require seasonal heating can achieve significant energy savings through thermostat adjustment. The aim of this project is to explore how smart thermostats track, control, and reduce electric resource consumption compared to regular, standard thermostats.
