Financial Analysis Intern

The project will include a capital investment analysis for new equipment and production cost analysis for in-house products and resale products. The capital investment analysis includes a return on investment analysis for various new pieces of packaging, injection, and smokehouse equipment while considering equipment, labour, and maintenance costs. The analysis will examine the profitability of new equipment, leading to an investment decision that may impact labour allocation in the production processes. The production cost analysis includes the development of standard production costs for the Old Port product line, the review of pricing and margins for the Old Port product line, and an analysis of pricing and gross margins of resale products. The product pricing analysis will identify optimum selling points that increase revenue while maintaining consumer demand. It may also identify opportunities to increase specific product volumes and products that should be dropped entirely.
