Rheolution Inc. develops and commercializes a new scientific instrument dedicated to the mechanical
characterization of materials for research and development and quality control of industrial
polymers. The instrument, called RheoSpectrisTM, uses an innovative technology patented by the
University of Montreal Hospital. Compared to the competing old generation instruments, this unique
technology allows the measurement of material properties over an unexplored dynamic range (20
times wider), very rapidly (in less than 1 second) and without contact. This research proposal
constitutes a part of the strategy pursued by Rheolution Inc. to continuously develop its instrument
capabilities and has three major axes:
