Investigating the Feasibility of Utilizing Aluminum Production Residues in Asphalt Pavements for Sustainable Road Construction

This research is highly beneficial to the partner organization, as it provides a sustainable approach to valorize its unused waste materials and offers insights into the feasibility of large-scale incorporation of APRs into road pavements, considering long-term applications. Furthermore, since processing APRs for use as filler in asphalt mixtures is costly, this project will help the partner find solutions to reduce costs by optimizing processing methods and exploring the use of unprocessed APRs in cold mix asphalt.
