(2) the challenges the partner aims to solve through this project
Modern enterprises grapple with fragmented knowledge spread across emails, chats, and internal documents, making traditional knowledge systems insufficient. This project will develop multi-turn deep-research agents that autonomously identify information gaps, integrate unstructured data, and deliver concise, reliable reports tailored to enterprise needs. By addressing these challenges, the partner aims to create advanced AI agents capable of transforming scattered communications into actionable insights, streamlining investigative reasoning and enhancing decision-making across teams.
(3) the anticipated social or economic benefits of the project for the partner organization(s)
By enhancing the performance, interactivity, and trustworthiness of deep research agents, major productivity gains could be observed in the enterprise setting, where knowledge work remain a bottleneck and acquiring up-to-date information from knowledge-bases is a key challenge. To encourage further research in multi-turn deep research agents, we plan to open source the findings of this project.
