Propagation Production Planning for Cannabis at EXKA

This project aims to develop a tool that would assist EXKA, a company that produces and sells seedlings of cannabis, to plan the propagation of a variety of cannabis types in order to meet the customers’ orders on time. EXKA employs different ways to grow a cannabis plant, therefore the project will coordinate the growth of the plants using different methods all while respecting the limited capacity available and taking into account uncertainty. By also considering the inventory, this prototype will allow the company to digitalize their whole production process and facilitate their decision making whenever an order comes in. This would require some research and some data analytics, but the partner organization is expected to rely on this program so that it would always satisfy the customer’s needs.
