Universal Resource Strategy

The long wait for pediatric rehabilitation requires that service providers support families in new and innovative ways while they wait for service. Tiered service delivery is a model where each tier represents a higher intensity of service. The first tier provides Universal Resources; supports that can benefit all children. KidsAbility is building a Universal Resource strategy to ensure that high-quality, evidence-based resources are available for all families at any point, but particularly during their early engagement period while they wait for targeted or individualized service. This project will engage clinical staff and families to inform a needs assessment and gap analysis that will identify what resources are helpful to families, and where we need to develop content to support their needs. The deliverables will be a comprehensive library of existing universal resources, a prioritized plan for developing new content, and an evaluation plan.
