Venture Studio Fellow

Futuresight as a venture studio is a startup and VC fund that invests in and builds different software companies. Our goal for Benjamin in the next 6 months is to play an active role on the Validation Team being responsible for activities related to:
– Ideation
– Customer discovery
– Assumption mapping and Lean canvas design
– Market research and competitive analysis
– Costing
These activities will support the work of 2 Founders in Residence who are looking to build start-ups at FutureSight.
It is a crucial role. We have earmarked 6 months for the ideation and validation phases around a new software opportunity that can potentially be formed into a new venture. At the end of the 6 month period, a decision will be made around investment. The work done now is directly correlated to FutureSight’s decision to invest or not.
Why? Founders in Residence are chosen by FutureSight to go through this initial validation period with, in order to assess the market opportunity and ability to build a venture scale business.
