Clinically-Informed Product Refinement, Patent Protection & Business Partnership Strategy for Air Microfluidics Systems Inc

This project aims to facilitate interdisciplinary innovation between student with a background rich in clinical oncology & lymphedema experience with a biotech engineering startup to launch the world of lymphedema management into the 21st century. The proposed project will see the student working to inform the biotech company about what challenges exist in the world of the clinician and the patient to help with cutting-edge technological application and to justify the necessity of a new patent as well as foster good interdisciplinary and commerical relationships between the biotech sector, the healthcare sector and provincial manufacturing partners. From this project, Air Microfluidic Systems Inc can expect to expedite the product refinement process, make valuable partnerships with parties who matter and be able to better justify the need and usefulness of their project in publications, patents and proposals.
