Commetix – Mobile device commerce SaaS, Developer 2

The partner organization, Commetix Systems, has been in the business of mobile device repair and sales for over 5 years. They have a good understanding of the business requirements as well as the shortcomings of existing software currently used within the industry.
Many commercial websites such as Shopify do not allow the sale of mobile devices because of their association with the Stripe payment system. Commetix Systems is creating an online SaaS application that is specific to servicing mobile commerce, helping their clients to easily build customizable commercial website that allow them to conduct business online. The websites will include basic features which allow customers to view/filter merchandise and make purchases. Clients will have access to a dashboard which provides inventory tracking, access to a pooled or network inventory, business reports and the ability to edit information and themes used in the website. To gain a competitive edge, a unique feature not available on other platforms that will be developed is to allow for phone trade-ins.
A preliminary version of the application has been developed with frontend components for some of the basic features, but is lacking a backend database and API (application programming interface) to connect them.
