IT Support Analyst

The intern will be working for West Coast Reduction Ltd., Western Canada’s largest independent rendering company. The student will be involved in the day-to-day operational realities of standard organizational IT practices. This will involved front-line support, review and mentorship of IT governance frameworks, and a review of strategic frameworks such as road-mapping, the role of IT in functional lines of business processes, and discussions about roles and responsibilities within IT. This kind of hands-on mentorship will provide the candidate with a real-world view of the standards and practices they can expect to encounter in the workplace. The intern will provide value to the organization by participating in ITIL-based documentation and interacting with business users with a focus on the value proposition of IT in day-to-day activities.
