Vancouver, BC — As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen and better align organizational priorities with our postdoctoral offerings, Elevate as a standalone program has been replaced with a postdoctoral funding model within Accelerate as of March 31st, 2025. To better align with research and industry needs, we are streamlining access and improving the postdoctoral program experience.
A new funding approach was launched on April 1, 2025, through the Mitacs Accelerate program. Postdoctoral fellows will be eligible for a $20,000 internship unit, with the potential to access up to $60,000 in Mitacs funding annually. This new model offers greater support in collaborative research opportunities between academia and industry.
Existing Elevate projects will continue until completion without changes.
