Mitacs joins the Atlantic Prosperity Charter to strengthen connections between talent and opportunity

Halifax, NS — Mitacs has joined the Atlantic Prosperity Charter, an initiative of the Association of Atlantic Universities (AAU) and the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce (ACC) focused on strengthening the collective commitment of Atlantic Canada’s university and business communities to developing and retaining the region’s future workforce.

The Prosperity Charter brings universities and employers together to create stronger pathways for students and graduates to gain experience and employment in Atlantic Canada. Through networking, mentorship, work-integrated learning, internships, and other opportunities, the initiative aims to strengthen the region’s talent pipeline and support graduate retention.

Mitacs brings more than 25 years of experience connecting talent, research and industry to turn ideas into results. Through co-funded innovation partnerships, Mitacs helps businesses access research talent and expertise to innovate and compete, while equipping students and postdoctoral researchers with skills, industry experience and professional networks.
