This project aims to perform the first modern, comprehensive survey of meteorite flux to Earth using the Global Meteor Network (GMN), leveraging its unprecedented spatial coverage, and calibrated observations. By collaborating with Prof. Denis Vida at the University of Western Ontario in Canada, I will apply advanced measurement techniques to re-analyse the trajectories of all GMN-observed fireballs, derive a calibrated flux of meteorite-dropping fireballs from different compositional classes (stony, carbonaceous, iron, etc.), and constrain meteorite source regions in the Solar System from the orbital information.
