A Modular and Scalable Approach to Network Management and High-Speed Traffic Processing in Satellite Communication Systems

This project presents a novel software-centric architecture for enhancing network management and traffic processing in satellite communication networks. The architecture features a standardized communication framework enabling seamless interaction between a software-based Network Management System, traffic applications, and a new high-speed hardware processing module. This module, designed with a hybrid FPGA/CPU approach, provides high-performance modulation and coding capabilities aligned with DVB-S2X standards. The modular software and hardware design ensures flexibility, scalability, and adaptability, ultimately improving the system’s agility, performance, and efficiency.
