Achieve economical recovery of precious metals from fine-grained resources through enhanced ultra-fine grinding

This research project aims at improving the recovery of precious metals from fine-grained resources using ultra-fine grinding process. The project involves testing three different ore samples to quantify the benefits of HIGmill grinding on mineral recovery. A comprehensive HIGmill model for optimization purpose will be developed based on bench-scale tests. The developed HIGmill model could be used for optimizing the HIGmill operations at FMSC mines. The research outcomes on fine grinding-separation will provide technical support for the mines for future operation optimizations.
