The proposed project at Brokol Enterprises Inc. involves two interns working on different but complementary aspects of the Brokol app, which aims to reduce household food waste by helping users manage their groceries more efficiently. Shin Tan (Intern 1) will focus on improving the app’s technological features, enhancing existing functionalities, and developing new ones to make the app more intuitive and user-friendly. Salma Vikha (Intern 2) aims to refine the app’s user interface and experience, ensuring that it is engaging and easy to use. Together, these improvements are expected to make the Brokol app more effective at helping users reduce food waste, leading to a wider adoption of the app and contributing to sustainability goals. This project will not only enhance Brokol’s offering but also align with Canada’s efforts to reduce food waste, providing a practical tool for households to manage their food consumption more sustainably.
