DOUBL is a start-up retailer that aims to provide women with a customizable bra by taking exact body measurements through advanced 3D image technology. Our perfectly fitting bra will provide all day comfort, allowing the consumer to focus on what’s important in their everyday rather than on their physical discomfort. This increase in comfort has been shown to correlate with confidence which can be a major barrier to women in the professional workforce. This research project, that will be undertaken by our intern, will allow for DOUBL to conduct market research and complete an in-depth product assessment to ensure a successful brand launch. The project will include conducting a thorough analysis of women’s current pain points found in standard market bras by extrapolating data from customer reviews. Furthermore, the research project will include defining a comprehensive brand and product positioning strategy, as well as developing our revenue and costing model. A well-fitting bra should not be a luxury, the lingerie industry has been neglecting female comfort and has been stagnant with regards to innovation and technological progression.
