This project is meant to address one of the real-life challenges faced by network enterprises and telecom operators to maintain secure and reliable networks and systems. As a major player in 5G mobile networks and services, the partner organization will support the intern in his research by first, providing him with real-life challenges and industrial needs, and will direct the research activities in order to make the right impact in the academic but also in the industrial. More precisely, the partner will benefit from this project by leveraging the innovative ideas and the outcome of this research such as proof of concept tool, which can be used to directly contribute to the partner’s business. The research results will be disseminated internationally (e.g., academic publications) to further enhance Canada’s and Quebec’s image, increase their visibility and expand their research capacity and leadership in cutting-edge research and technologies. In longer term, this research work will help in improving the security of such telecom critical infrastructures and consequently have positive impact on both the economy and national security of Canada.
