Business Development and Financial Planning Internship

Job Description Overview
As a start-up amidst rail suppliers that have been established for many decades, we are looking for an innovative and concrete strategy for growth, financial planning, pricing, and business development to sustain and grow our operations.
The selected candidate will be involved with day-to-day tasks for evaluation of financial decisions and developing long-term business strategy. The candidate will have a unique and very hands-on opportunity to be involved in company financials and business opportunities. The candidate shall be entrepreneurial, analytical, and forward-thinking. The candidate shall be given the opportunity to attend conferences, manage the work of third-party consultants, and network within the transportation and start-up community of Montreal.

Required Qualifications
• MUST be currently enrolled in an MBA program
• Strong in accounting, finance, and / or business analytics
• Familiarity with MS Office products, accounting or ERP systems, and data analytics
• 1-3 years of work experience in a business environment
• Demonstrated communication and leadership ability
• Professional abilities in at least English and preferably French as well
• Experience in transportation industries is an asset
