Camp Fircom Brand and Marketing Playbook Development

Located on Gambier Island, Camp Fircom has a unique strategic positioning of offering multiple outdoor camp and vacation experiences in a unique forest-meets-ocean setting but within close proximity to the Metro Vancouver area. Camp Fircom is interested in further tapping into this positioning by enhancing its brand voice to generate more registrations to its programs and attract more sponsors. Capilano University’s Centre for Tourism Research and Extension Services (CTRES) has taken the lead in the development of Camp Fircom’s brand and marketing playbook. It is expected that the implementation of this playbook would not only grow program registrations but also increase visitations from tourists, school groups, and other markets, as well as generate new sponsorships.
