Communication and Research Assistant

The Internship will provide a breadth of opportunities to grow – in marketing & communications, project management & logistics, fundraising & NGO governance. 20th Anniversary Tree Planting, Outreach Coordination Across BC
Using an existing basic network of forestry and community contacts, I will coordinate with 20+ clubs across the province to assess the participant rate, connect the local club with tree donors, and provide tools for a successful community event. This role will also centrally coordinate the storytelling of this initiative through magazines and social media.
Nature Club Program Enhancements & Assistance
I can lead the social media communications through reference to the organizational editorial calendar, with support from staff for content submissions.
Annual Fund Development Plan Research & Writing
Using existing annual fund development plans, I will assess best-fit opportunities for short/medium/and long term, contributing to content curation and enhancing current donation appeals and grant submissions.
