Comparing General Surgery and Endoscopy Referrals Patterns in Labrador-Grenfell Health to other Regions of Newfoundland
In 2017 the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association released a report1 calling for a comprehensive review of medical facilities in Newfoundland and Labrador (NL), Canada’s easternmost province. A key message in this report was the need to reduce costs while improving the quality of care that patients receive This project aims to address if access and efficiency issues can be improved in general surgery and endoscopy in areas of NL.
