Création d’outils pour l’élaboration d’un plan de conservation des milieux naturels de la Municipalité de Bolton-Ouest
Inspirée par l’adoption récente d’un plan de conservation par la municipalité voisine de St-Étienne-de-Bolton, Bolton-Ouest souhaite innover en matière de gouvernance environnementale en concevant et en mettant en œuvre son propre plan de conservation des milieux naturels. Ce projet vise donc à relever un défi stratégique : intégrer la conservation de la biodiversité dans les pratiques municipales au-delà des activités courantes. Le plan de conservation servira de guide pour la révision du règlement d’urbanisme de 2008 et l’élaboration d’un nouveau plan stratégique de développement durable du territoire pour remplacer celui qui date de 2015, mais qui n’a jamais été mis en œuvre.
