Developing urban asset agents (institutional buildings, commercial buildings, transformers) and user-aggregator Unified Modelling Language within a transactive energy framework

This project provides key elements that would help create a transactive energy framework testbed. The testbed is expected to be used for analyzing different market and business models which facilitate increased participation of the end-users, improved efficiency in the grid and optimal usage and distribution of the energy present in the urban neighbourhoods.
The work proposed as part of the project adds to the work already being done by Hydro-Quebec along with ETS and UQTR by providing building agents, transformer agents and the communication language and framework that would make negotiation between the different assets in an electrical network of a known topology, ensuring optimal usage of the assets present and the constraints within each type of building.
