Development of a Dental Temporary Staff Scheduling System

Aspiring Ingenuity Inc. is a Canadian staffing company established in ….. . They provide temporary dental care staffing solutions for dental clinics in Toronto. They are currently facing challenges with their existing software and tools in assigning employees for services based on different requirements, provide relevant information such as time, address, and special instructions. Schedule repeating shifts, send reminders and get real-time shift status notifications. As the company grows with increasing number of clients (dental clinics and services) and growing number of temporary staff and new job applicants, the company find the development of a new web application to manage these diverse activities a top priority. So the company will Collaborate with Wearable, Interactive, and Mobile Technologies Access Centre in Health (WIMTACH) to develop a stand alone staffing management solution that allows dental practices to connect with and hire temporary dental staff quickly and easily. The proposed application will allow dental practices to post shifts (date, hours, and type of staff) of temporary staff that they require. These posted shifts will be sent as email notifications to qualified temporary dental staff members, and those who wish to accept the shift can do so with a “click of a button”. The dental practice will then accept one of the applicants, and the accepted temporary staff will show-up and complete their shift.
